The Prakassa Story
Prakassa was born from a simple belief: good clothing should feel as good as it looks.
Founded in 2021, Prakassa brings together natural fabrics, thoughtful design and a deep focus on fit to create Indian wear that feels relevant beyond a season or occasion. From printed tunics and everyday separates to embroidered sets and occasion wear, every piece is designed with attention to the fabric, construction, detailing and the woman who will wear it.
The idea for Prakassa came from years of working closely with customers and seeing what was missing. There was no shortage of Indian wear, but there was a clear need for clothing that brought together good fabrics, considered design, detailed finishing and a personalised fit without losing its sense of value.
That became the foundation of Prakassa.
Today, the label continues to be shaped by the same principles it began with: quality over excess, detail over decoration and clothing that feels personal rather than mass-made.
Much of Prakassa’s journey has been built through relationships and word of mouth. One customer leading to another, one recommendation becoming another relationship. As the brand grows, that sense of trust remains at its heart.
Prakassa is clothing rooted in Indian sensibilities, made for the way women dress today.
